Chambers Island and POTA
Chambers Island is a fantastic place for POTA.
In fact, it’s the place I’ve activated the most as a POTA activator. I’m aiming to get my first Kilo award in this park.
I think the reason I like it a lot is that it’s always decently quiet, especially at night. Little to no noise out there considering how close it is to civilization. A nice benefit too is that there are a number of spots you can activate from and be within 2 other parks. There are multiple undercover spots as well tables that are in open air. Heaps of trees too for you long wire antenna sort of people.
